Canada is a key player of clean technology and climate solutions. Aside from having 100+ Trade Commissioners across the world covering the clean technology sector, the TCS also has four Cleantech Trade Commissioners based across Europe, Singapore, Nairobi, and Bogota to better assist Canadian clean technology companies.

Four Climate Finance Trade Commissioners are also located in cities where multilateral development banks are present (Washington, London, Manilla and Abidjan). This helps firms take advantage of the significant business opportunities generated by climate finance in growing markets. The TCS also has a clean technology Trade Commissioner in the Clean Growth Hub to maintain high-quality client service across Government of Canada export programs.
